Renters' Responsibilities


  1. Close all gates prior to the start of the event.
  2. Emergency exits must remain easily accessible and under no circumstances can they be blocked by tables, chairs, walls, temporary stages, persons, etc.
  3. Your original liquor license must always be displayed at the bar on the cork board.
  4. Do not use any flammable materials on the premises.
    1. e.g: fireworks, bales of hay, patio torches, etc.
  5. When BBQing in the designated area, a FIRE EXTINGUISHER must be readily available.
  6. No Deep Fryers of any kind to be used in the kitchen or on the premises.
  7. If using portable outdoor heaters. The devices must have a TSSA certification or similar safety mark (CSA etc.).
  8. Do not allow beer bottles to leave from behind the bar. Use plastic cups.
  9. NO LIQUOR BOTTLES shown amongst the prizes or games. (L.C.B.O. Regulations).
  10. NO SMOKING/VAPING inside the fenced area of the venue. Please use designated smoking area.
  11. Tables and upholstered chairs located in the hall, must remain inside the hall area.
  12. Animals are not permitted in the building unless it is required by an individual with a service dog that is certified.
  13. Do not park inside the fenced area. Only ONE (1) vehicle is allowed to load and unload items.
  14. Turn off all heaters if located in the exterior portions of the venue.
  15. Turn off all lights, including stage and pavilion canopy lights.
  16. All belongings must be removed from l’Auberge Richelieu the same evening.
    1. e.g.: cases of beer, full and empty, and food from the kitchen.
  17. Clean the kitchen, counters, table surfaces, stove, and sinks.
  18. Do not pour grease and or coffee grounds down the sinks.
  19. Clear all tables and place all garbage in the provided containers.
  20. Place all garbage bags in the blue dumpsters located on the southwest corner of the stage in the parking lot.
  21. Please turn over outside garbage cans once emptied.
  22. LOCK all doors and place the keys on the hook at the indoor bar.
  23. Close locked door as you exit the hall and CHECK that it is locked and secured.

We expect the premises, inside and outside, to remain in the same condition as you received it.
